My name is Cathryn but most people call me Cat. I’m 24 and grew up on the Cape with my sister and mom in a home constantly filled with all types of furry friends! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and tried my best to live a cruelty-free life for the past 15 years out of love for our mother earth and every creature that inhabits it. My free time is spent writing poetry, going to shows, tending to my plants, and stuffing my face with tasty vegan food. I can’t wait to meet you & your pet!
Hi! My name is Bella, I was born and raised in Boston MA and my ambition has always been to become a veterinarian. Despite living in the city all my life, nothing has stopped me and my family from owning almost every pet you can imagine. Beginning with a multitude of cats and dogs I quickly developed a passion for animals. Leading me to own birds, reptiles and even chickens in urban East Boston. At this point in my life my love for animals continues to grow stronger, and therefore I’m striving to make a career with animals while I study the veterinary field.
Hi there! The names Kaylee but I prefer Kay. I was born in Hollywood, Florida and moved to Massachusetts when I was about two. Raised in Boston, I didn’t grow up around dogs but I did have a lot of fish! I am a Strong animal lover and food lover.
I have a bunny named Kasper, and a hamster named Nieve. Can’t wait to make connections with all different kinds of dogs!!
Katie grew up in an old farmhouse among dogs, cats, goats, and horses in the small town of
Princeton, MA. At Middlebury College in Vermont, Katie’s favorite course was “Animal
Behavior” followed closely by “Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy.” She is currently working
toward her pre-medical post-baccalaureate at Harvard University. As for hobbies, Katie loves a
good romantic movie, and she often tries to meditate, with varying degrees of success. Though
she loves all dogs, Katie especially appreciates the silly, high-endurance types, who help her
run farther, and remind her that the outdoors is a gift.
Originally from California, Taghi has been living in Massachusetts for the last 15 years. He holds an Associate’s degree from the New England Institute of Art. Growing up as the eldest sibling, he was responsible for caring for his family pets in addition to his siblings. He understood early on how pets are family members too. In former lives, Taghi worked in the financial sector and real estate. Currently, Taghi and his family have a happy American Bulldog- Pitbull Mix, Elliot. In his spare time he enjoys family get togethers, BBQ’s and attending art exhibits.
I’m a New England native who grew up running around the New Hampshire logging paths with my family dogs and have been obsessed with many different breeds for as long as I can remember. As much as I’d love to have my own Pit Bull or Blue Heeler one day (small city apartment problems!), there’s nowhere I’d rather be than outside playing with my family’s terrier/boxer mix Dublin. In my spare time, I’m biking or skateboarding around the city, record shopping, screenprinting and escaping to the beach as much as possible. I’ve always been immensely passionate about animal rescue and welfare, and hope to take my role at Elliot’s House towards a career in that field. In the meantime, I’m beyond excited to provide the highest level of care for other people’s best friends while making some of my own at the same time!
Senior Dog walker/Sitter
Amie is a Boston native and former Chef. She has lived in Las Vegas, Florida, Louisiana, and Georgia. She decided to change her career path when someone asked her, “What is it that makes you happy?” Without having to think about it another second, she immediately responded, “Animals!”. So she sought out her career in the pet care field and found her way to Elliot’s House. Currently, she has a 2 and a half-year-old Golden/Yellow lab mix named Basil Noel, who is the light of her life! In the future, she does hope to use her culinary degree again someday by creating customized organic treats for pets with special dietary needs, and even incorporating essential oils and vitamins into them.

Outside of that, I love reading, playing new games and baking bread.

Lead Trainer - Shift Supervisor
Andrew was born in Brookline and grew up in Orlando, Florida. He served in the U.S. Peace Corps in South Africa from 2011 to 2013. He brought back two dogs from his village, Maatla (left), which means “strong” in Sotho, and Chanda, a name he got from the movie “Life, Above All.” They are sweet, if high energy, dogs that are good for both running and cuddling with. Andrew has a degree in journalism from Elon University and has experience in photography, which he may use to take portraits of animals one day.
Hi my name is Keiana and I am a Cambridge and Boston native! I grew up with animals of all kinds. Cats, dogs and even small animals such as gerbils and goldfish! I have such a huge love for dogs in particular and wish I could adopt a houseful! I hope I can one day! Growing up I’ve had different breeds in my home such as a Pitbull for example. Every breed can show love! I currently have a French bulldog, who is 7 months old. His name is Loki and he is my absolute best friend. Loki goes with me everywhere. He is my little companion. Dogs really do help people, their presence is so therapeutic. I am so happy and excited to join the Elliot’s House crew and show my love for dogs and different animals through working here!

I’m from Akron, Ohio and I moved to Boston two years ago. I grew up with a Dalmatian, two Boxers, two cats, and have had several other pets throughout the years. When I was little I either wanted to be a veterinarian or an artist. Now I spend my days taking care of pets, studying animation, and painting and drawing whenever I can.
