Parker

Operations Manager

Hi everyone! My name is Parker and I’m the Operations Manager here at Elliot’s House. I’ve had a passion for animals my whole life and I grew up with two Maine Coon cats named Dark Star and Angel Eyes, as well as a Brown Lab named Cabella and a Black Lab named Lily. Other than growing up with pets, I’ve volunteered with animal conservation centers in my home state of North Carolina. I volunteered with the Conservators Center in Mebane, North Carolina for six years. During this time I helped to build habitats for tigers, lions, wolves, dingos, and every creature in between. I also helped care for aging wolves towards the end of their lives. I’m happy to bring my passion for animals of all shapes and sizes to the Elliot’s House team. Besides pet care, I’m passionate about music and have helped to produce lo-fi hip hop in the past. I love being out in nature and would never say no to a good hike. I’m a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and love cheering on the Tar Heels during basketball season. I look forward to greeting and caring for all the pups who join our pack!

Daycare Attendant

Hi, My name is Channon. I have lived in Medford and Dennis Port, Cape Cod most of my life. I grew up in a family where all of us had some kind of animal and a lot of dogs. My house was known as “the zoo” to the family. We had the most animals. I currently have two dogs, a guinea pig, and a turtle. I started watching dogs at a young age for my family. if they went away or needed someone to dogsit, I was the girl to ask. From there my passion for working with animals and keeping them safe grew. I worked at some pet stores and from there worked with doggie daycares and even some cat daycare. I am in college for Environmental Engineering. Outside of work and school, I spend time with my 3 older brothers and friends doing hobbies from working to on cars and boats to fishing, surfing and paddle boarding. I am very excited to meet your furry friends!

Hi my name is Keiana and I am a Cambridge and Boston native! I grew up with animals of all kinds. Cats, dogs and even small animals such as gerbils and goldfish! I have such a huge love for dogs in particular and wish I could adopt a houseful! I hope I can one day! Growing up I’ve had different breeds in my home such as a Pitbull for example. Every breed can show love! I currently have a French bulldog, who is 7 months old. His name is Loki and he is my absolute best friend. Loki goes with me everywhere. He is my little companion. Dogs really do help people, their presence is so therapeutic. I am so happy and excited to join the Elliot’s House crew and show my love for dogs and different animals through working here!

Sasha

Lead Dog Walker

Hello all! My name is Sasha, I was born and raised in central Vermont. I am happy to bring my passion and love for all creatures to Elliot’s House! My love for animals began at birth, and since then I have been the sole influencer of all the pets in my family, two dogs, a cat, and a bunny. I moved to Boston, with my pet bunny, for school and graduated with a double major in graphic design and fine arts in May 2019. Outside of pet care I am an avid art lover and am often painting animal portraits! I promise to give your pets just as much love as I would give my own!

Nellise

Nellise

Daycare Attendant

Hi everyone, my name is Nellise!

I usually go by Nell. I’m 22 years old, born and raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico. When I was 10 years old I came over to the United States where Cambridge, Massachusetts became my second home. I haven’t had any dogs here in the U.S but I did grow up with them back in P.R. We had these two dogs named Blanco and Tigre and they were best friends since they were born. In our island, dogs are usually out and about but they always come back home at night. Unfortunately, one night Tigre got into a fight with a group of dogs and when Blanco went in to defend him, they both ended up passing that same instance. My dad found them on the streets on his way back home from church. We gave them a funeral in our backyard, because they were loyal dogs to each other and to us so they deserved proper goodbyes. It was heartbreaking but at least they were together. They made me care and have love for dogs of all sizes and furs. About ten years later, my mom got a dog named, Teddy. He’s the cutest mini poodle I’ve ever seen, because he loves to play all day, cuddle and helps you when you’re down. He’s so therapeutic to be around because his presence gives off pure happiness and peace. I visit her once a week to be with my family and Teddy. It is not enough time spent with them, but I cherish every minute of it. Now I’m planning on having two large dogs in the near future (Newfoundland and Samoyed) when I am more financially stable. They’re my favorite breeds, because they’re fluffy, silly and loyal.  I would be more than blessed to share my time and love with them. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work and care for all the dogs that come into our doors. It is a pleasure and a privilege! Thank you for putting them in our hands!
